Get Covered by MIChild

The Children's Health Insurance Program legislation ended at the end of September. It needs to be renewed or the MIChild program, which insures kids in families between 138% and 217% of the Poverty Level, will end in early 2018.

MIChild is a state-run insurance program that covers all children in one family for $10 per month.   It is not uncommon for parents to be on the Marketplace and children to have MIChild.  

MIChild is now a Medicaid program. The plan includes medical,  dental, vision and mental health coverage.
